Now Comms Asia acquires Singapore based Mischief Makers

New experiential marketing services will increase value to clients and drive positive growth

Singapore, 01 October 2019 – Now Communications Group Pte Ltd announced today the acquisition of experiential design and production lab Mischief Makers. This comes as part of a continued strategy for Now Comms Asia to develop, grow and diversify across Asia Pacific.

Mischief Makers, founded in 2015 by Jaymi McManus, has created experiences for brands including Grab, City Developments Limited, CapitaLand and Thales. They have developed fashion and nightlife productions with Fat Fish, Lisa Von Tang, ZoukOut and were commissioned by the National Heritage Board for Singapore Night Festival 2019. Mischief Makers has built a solid reputation for using interactive media to create unique and engaging productions.

McManus brings over fifteen years of experience working in the region with the last four pursuing a passion to create an agency with fun and mischief at its core. On the acquisition he said, “We always push the boundaries of interactive media and we can now be more ambitious and work more closely with youth and art communities to bring a new energy to our commercial and institutional projects.”

This latest acquisition further enhances the Now Comms portfolio of services and will enable clients to tap into the benefits of and meet increasing consumer demand for authentic experiential marketing activations and installations as part of a broader marketing mix. The agreement will see the continuation of the Mischief Makers brand while transitioning its talent and assets into Now Communications Group.

Jaymi will take on the role of Executive Creative Director, bringing his unique talents and extensive experience to the combined group of companies. In addition to growing and nurturing creative talent within the organisation, he will also spearhead the creative capabilities for the group, creating excitement around new ideas internally and with clients.
